That was up 2.9%, or 66.8 rubles, from April.<\/p>\n<p>Real average wages in the public sector increased by 10.1% in January-May, according to data published by Belstat.<\/p>\n<p>In April, wages in public sector organizations amounted to 80% of the national average wage.<\/p>\n<p>The average monthly wages for public sector employees in April were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>public administration \u2013 3,832 rubles (-172.2 rubles from the previous month),<\/li>\n<li>school teachers \u2013 2,995.2 rubles (+187.5 rubles),<\/li>\n<li>preschool teachers \u2013 2,045.1 rubles (+121.1 rubles),<\/li>\n<li>university faculty \u2013 3,354.7 rubles (+42.2 rubles),<\/li>\n<li>doctors \u2013 4,433.4 rubles (+51.1 rubles),<\/li>\n<li>mid-level medical personnel \u2013 2,419.8 rubles (+70.8 rubles).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The average nominal accrued monthly wage of public sector employees in Belarus reached 2,402.2 Belarusian rubles before taxes in May.
