Police officers have seized a small arsenal from a 52-year-old resident of Mahiliou. A criminal case has been opened, the Interior Ministry’s press service said.<\/p>\n

Officers found a carbine with an optical sight, two fragmentation grenades, more than 2 kilograms of various explosive substances, nearly 100 rounds of ammunition for rifled firearms, a rifle barrel with receiver, a fuse for hand grenades, a detonator cap and an electric detonator in the man’s home.<\/p>\n

The ministry noted that the man had previously been convicted of illegal arms trafficking and theft.<\/p>\n
