Belarusian customs officers at the Kazlovichy border crossing uncovered a violation involving a Polish carrier.<\/p>\n

Suspicions arose during weight and dimension checks. According to the documents, the MAN truck was carrying 2 tonnes of cargo. However, the scales showed that the cargo weighed twice as much.<\/p>\n

During an inspection of the truck, customs officers found motorcycles that had not been declared in the customs documents.<\/p>\n

“Their value amounted to about 500,000 Belarusian roubles. This means there was a shortfall of 89,000 Belarusian roubles in customs payments,”<\/i> the State Customs Committee said.<\/p>\n

Administrative proceedings have been initiated.<\/p>\n
