Belarusian customs officers have uncovered a large shipment of undeclared goods worth more than 1 million Belarusian rubles that was imported into the country in violation of customs regulations.<\/p>\n

The violation was detected by officers of the Operational Customs Office during special enforcement measures. During an inspection of a truck at the Minsk-TLC-2 customs clearance point, they discovered more than 85,000 units of foreign-made goods, including auto parts, massagers, hyperbaric oxygen chambers and children’s toys.<\/p>\n

The goods had been imported into the Eurasian Economic Union without the required customs declaration, the State Customs Committee reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Administrative proceedings have been initiated against a Kazakh declarant. He faces a fine of up to 30% of the value of the goods that are the subject of the administrative offence.<\/p>\n
