In recent days, the well-known explorer of Belarusian towns and villages has published a new episode from his archive dedicated to the village of Mikalaeva.<\/p>\n<p>Zhygamont visited the former township in the Iuje District in springtime. He appears before viewers wearing a black coat and hat rather than his familiar white summer suit. Yet his tireless curiosity remains unchanged. In the episode, Zhygamont \u0440\u0430\u0441\u0441\u043a\u0430\u0437\u044b\u0432\u0430\u0435\u0442 about notable figures associated with Mikalaeva, including archaeologist <b>Leanid Pobal<\/b>, educator <b>Kanstantsin Tyzenhauz<\/b>, and magnate <b>Mikalai Kishka<\/b>. He also highlights one of the village\u2019s most remarkable archaeological discoveries \u2014 an eight-meter-long dugout boat carved from a single oak tree and dating back to the early 16th century.
