Indian company SMPP has completed the delivery of 100 jet-powered kamikaze drones and six training systems to the Indian Army, the company’s press service reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Modern warfare is increasingly defined by precision, autonomy and affordability, and systems such as Peacekeeper (Agniveg) are becoming critical force multipliers on the battlefield,”<\/i><\/em> Ashish Kansal, <\/b>CEO & Director, SMPP, said.<\/p>\n

The Peacekeeper drones are designed to operate in environments with intensive electronic warfare activity, including signal jamming and spoofing attempts. The drones can reach speeds of up to 450 km\/h and have an operational range of up to 180 km. They are intended to strike command posts, radar stations, logistics hubs and other strategically important military targets.<\/p>\n

As BELPOL previously reported, Belarus and India signed a contract in 2025 for the delivery of approximately 100 Peacekeeper kamikaze drones<\/a>. The buyer was SMPP AMMUNITION PVT. LTD, while the seller was the state foreign trade enterprise Belspetsvneshtekhnika.<\/p>\n

The appearance and technical characteristics of the Mirotvorets drones match those of the Peacekeeper system.<\/p>\n
