A traffic accident involving a 9-year-old and a 7-year-old child occurred in Luninets.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary information, a 9-year-old boy was riding a quad bike along Makaionka Street. Near house No. 14, he struck a 7-year-old cyclist who was riding along the edge of the roadway in the same direction, the Brest Regional Executive Committee’s Internal Affairs Directorate reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The cyclist sustained injuries. After receiving medical assistance, the child was allowed to return home.<\/p>\n

The quad bike was taken to a secured impound lot. Authorities established that the child’s mother had given him the keys to the vehicle. She was fined five base units (225 Belarusian rubles) for allowing a person without the legal right to drive to operate the vehicle.<\/p>\n
