The Emergency Situations Ministry is dealing with the aftermath of severe weather. An orange weather alert remains in effect across Belarus yesterday and today.<\/p>\n

“Over the past 24 hours, as a result of thunderstorms, heavy rainfall and squally winds with gusts of 15-20 m\/s, three cases of fallen trees were recorded in the Homiel Region,”<\/i> the ministry said.<\/p>\n

Rescuers also removed a fallen tree in the Chashniki District.<\/p>\n

This morning, Emergency Situations Ministry units were called out to pump water from flooded residential properties in Salihorsk and Slutsk.<\/p>\n
