According to Turkish media reports, thousands of the artist\u2019s fans arrived in the city from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and other countries. The stadium of the Be\u015fikta\u015f football club, which can accommodate more than 40,000 spectators, was completely sold out.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Turkish publication GazeteMag, demand for airline tickets from Russia to Istanbul was so high that some flights were completely sold out several days before the performance. The influx of music fans complicated traffic in several central districts of Istanbul and drew mixed reactions from local residents. However, no major incidents or high-profile detentions were reported.<\/p>\n<p>Turkish media described the concert as one of the most notable musical events of the beginning of the summer season.
