Turchyn described Belarus-China relations as an example of a <em>\u201cmature, trusting and future-oriented strategic partnership.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He noted that Belarus views China as one of its key economic partners and strategic investors.<\/p>\n<p>Turchyn also recalled that on May 12, <b>Aliaksandr Lukashenka<\/b> signed a directive on the practical implementation of Belarus\u2019s all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership with China.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cAt present, China is the only foreign country for which documents of this level are being adopted,\u201d<\/i> he stressed.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cWe are consistently working to align the Belt and Road Initiative with Belarus\u2019s national socio-economic development priorities, creating modern transport, logistics, industrial and technological routes across Eurasia,\u201d<\/i> the prime minister said.<\/p>\n<p>He also referred to the Great Stone Industrial Park and cooperation in artificial intelligence, mechanical engineering and science. Turchyn further noted similarities between the two countries\u2019 development plans for 2026\u20132030.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cWe also support China\u2019s efforts to strengthen an open global economy, develop resilient production chains and build a fair system of international economic cooperation,\u201d<\/i> Turchyn said.<\/p>\n<p>The prime minister expressed confidence that Han Zheng\u2019s visit to Belarus would become <i>\u201can important step in implementing new joint projects and provide additional momentum for practical Belarus-China cooperation.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p>For his part, Han Zheng described Belarus as China\u2019s <i>\u201call-weather and comprehensive strategic partner.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cChina has had no other partners of this kind,\u201d<\/i> he said. <i>\u201cThat is why China attaches special importance to the development of China-Belarus relations.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Belarusian Prime Minister Aliaksandr Turchyn held talks with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng, the Belarusian government&#8217;s press service reported.
