This time, he accused the democratic forces of wanting to send Belarusians to fight in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><em><i>\u201cMoreover, I am reading reports from our intelligence services. They report that our fugitives went there&#8230; To quote directly, they told the Ukrainians: \u2018We have something to offer you \u2014 our Belarusians.\u2019 So what, are we supposed to go and fight in Ukraine for someone else\u2019s freedom? Do we want to become minced meat there, as the military say? No. We do not want that,\u201d<\/i><\/em> Lukashenka said during the opening ceremony of the Hrodna Regional Clinical Hospital on June 5.<\/p>\n<p>Lukashenka said that Belarus does not want war and has no intention of fighting anyone.<\/p>\n<p><em><i>\u201cI want builders to build, not to hold machine guns or assault rifles. Therefore, do not believe anyone who says that we want some kind of war,\u201d<\/i><\/em> he said.<\/p>\n<p>Lukashenka stressed that it is important to preserve the country given the tense situation around it.<\/p>\n<p><em><i>\u201cI look around and think about only one thing: how to preserve all this. How to make sure that an enemy\u2019s face, excuse me, does not get in here and smash and destroy everything,\u201d<\/i><\/em> Lukashenka said.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/lukashenka-comments-on-belarusian-democratic-forces-visit-to-kyiv\">Lukashenka also commented on the visit by <b>Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya<\/b><\/a> to Ukraine.
