The document implements provisions of the updated law on fingerprint registration, which requires foreigners to provide fingerprints when entering the country.<\/p>\n<p>According to the government&#8217;s press service, the resolution approves a new version of the Rules on the Stay of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons in the Republic of Belarus.<\/p>\n<p>The rules governing transit travel have also been updated.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Mandatory state fingerprint registration for foreign citizens travelling in transit through the territory of the Republic of Belarus is envisaged,&#8221;<\/em> the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, foreign nationals who are temporarily staying or temporarily residing in Belarus will no longer have the right to conduct one-time sales of goods at markets and\/or other locations designated by local executive and administrative authorities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Belarus&#8217; Council of Ministers has adopted a resolution &#8220;On the Stay of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons in the Republic of Belarus&#8221;.
