According to the State Authority for Military Industry, the document is aimed at deepening integration in the defence sector.<\/p>\n<p>The ratification bill was presented by the committee&#8217;s chairman, <b>Dzmitry Pantus<\/b>. He noted that the geopolitical situation has changed, creating the need to amend the agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Pantus highlighted the following changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the list of organisations authorised to independently procure military-technical equipment and property has been expanded;<\/li>\n<li>the procedures for concluding and implementing contracts, as well as compiling lists of military-technical equipment and property, have been revised;<\/li>\n<li>the procurement process for components needed for the maintenance and repair of weapons and military equipment has been simplified;<\/li>\n<li>the cost of procured weapons and military equipment samples has been reduced when military acceptance services are carried out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Belarus&#8217; House of Representatives on Tuesday ratified a protocol amending the agreement between Belarus and Russia on the development of military-technical cooperation.
