As of June 1, \u20ac8,206 had been raised out of a target of \u20ac17,100.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the foundation received applications from families of political prisoners living in Poland (29%), Belarus (23%), Lithuania (10%) and other European countries.<\/p>\n<p>Each child under the age of 16 receives \u20ac100. The funds are typically used to purchase summer clothing, pay for extracurricular activities, provide psychological support and organize recreation.<\/p>\n<p>As of today, 73 of the 166 children covered by the programme have already received assistance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The BYSOL Foundation continues its fundraising campaign for the children of political prisoners.
