Of those, 129,672 were multiple-entry visas.<\/p>\n<p>More than 157,000 applications for Schengen visas were submitted in Belarus during the year. A total of 3,652 applicants were refused visas.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, EU and Schengen Area consulates received nearly 12 million applications for short-stay visas last year, an increase of 1.8% compared with 2024.
