The United Transitional Cabinet awarded the medals \u201cHonour and Dignity\u201d, Francysk Skaryna Medal and \u201cFor Productive Work for the Benefit of Belarus\u201d to 24 distinguished individuals.<\/p>\n

On May 27, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya<\/b><\/strong> presented the awards in Kyiv. Representatives of the United Transitional Cabinet Pavel Barkouski<\/b><\/strong> and Vadzim Kabanchuk<\/b><\/strong> attended the ceremony.<\/p>\n

The \u201cHonour and Dignity\u201d medals were awarded to Belarusian volunteers and support group volunteers \u201cNemets\u201d<\/b><\/strong>, \u201cShmit\u201d<\/b><\/strong>, \u201cBlansh\u201d<\/b><\/strong>, \u201cSonya\u201d<\/b><\/strong>, \u201cSever\u201d<\/b><\/strong>, \u201cLesnik\u201d<\/b><\/strong>, \u201cMartin\u201d<\/b><\/strong>, \u201cAkson\u201d<\/b><\/strong>, \u201cGamlet\u201d<\/b><\/strong>, \u201cKipish\u201d<\/b><\/strong>, and Dzianis Herasimchyk<\/b><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Francysk Skaryna Medal was awarded to Belarusian opera singer Marharyta Liauchuk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The \u201cFor Productive Work for the Benefit of Belarus\u201d medal was awarded to:<\/p>\n

Vadim Halaychuk<\/strong> \u2014 Ukrainian lawyer and attorney, member of parliament and one of the initiators of the \u201cFor Democratic Belarus\u201d group in the Verkhovna Rada.<\/p>\n

Ihor Guz<\/strong> \u2014 Ukrainian politician, member of the eighth and ninth convocations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and one of the initiators of the parliamentary group \u201cFor Democratic Belarus\u201d.<\/p>\n

Yurii Barabash<\/strong> \u2014 Doctor of Law, professor, defender of democratic values in the region and judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Viacheslav Levytskyi<\/strong> \u2014 Ukrainian poet, prose writer, translator, critic and literary scholar.<\/p>\n

Siarhei Prylutsky<\/strong> \u2014 Belarusian poet, prose writer, translator and volunteer serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Pavel Sharoyka<\/strong> \u2014 journalist at Ukrainian Radio and former political prisoner in Belarus.<\/p>\n

Yurii Panchenko<\/strong> \u2014 editor of European Pravda, who reported on unlawful actions by the Lukashenka regime and explained the importance for Ukraine of maintaining contacts with democratic Belarus.<\/p>\n

Siarhei Sidarenka<\/strong> \u2014 editor of European Pravda, who has covered the Belarusian protests, repression and the Belarusian people\u2019s struggle for freedom since 2020.<\/p>\n

Aliaksandr Rykau<\/strong> (BalaganOFF) \u2014 Ukrainian blogger covering social and political developments related to Belarus and Russia and who initiated fundraising for drone procurement for the Kastu\u015b Kalino\u016dski Regiment.<\/p>\n

Iryna Uzlova<\/strong> \u2014 Ukrainian journalist and host of news programmes on Channel 24, covering political and human rights topics.<\/p>\n

Yauheniya Kutnova<\/strong> \u2014 Ukrainian journalist contributing to condemnation of repression and support for democratic change in Belarus.<\/p>\n

Aliaksei Homan<\/strong> \u2014 Ukrainian journalist who consistently and professionally covers the activities of Belarus\u2019s democratic forces and the human rights situation in the country.<\/p>\n

Medals were also awarded to former Ukrainian ambassador to Belarus Ihar Kizim<\/strong>, military chaplain Yauhen Ord<\/strong>, serviceman and public figure Siarhei Bahukalets<\/strong>, and analyst Yauhen Mahda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
