This was up 1.9%, or 44.6 roubles, compared with March.<\/p>\n<p>The real average salary in the public sector increased by 10.1% in January\u2013April. These figures were published by Belstat.<\/p>\n<p>In April, salaries in public sector organisations amounted to 79.1% of the national average wage.<\/p>\n<p>The average salaries of public sector employees in April were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in public administration \u2014 4,004.2 roubles (+167.8 roubles compared with the previous month),<\/li>\n<li>for school teachers \u2014 2,807.7 roubles (+31.2 roubles),<\/li>\n<li>for preschool educators \u2014 1,924 roubles (+15 roubles),<\/li>\n<li>for university teaching staff \u2014 3,312.5 roubles (+26 roubles),<\/li>\n<li>for doctors \u2014 4,382.3 roubles (+50.7 roubles),<\/li>\n<li>for mid-level medical personnel \u2014 2,349 roubles (+41.6 roubles).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The average nominal accrued salary of public sector employees in Belarus amounted to 2,335.4 Belarusian roubles before tax in April.
