A total of 38 migrants entered Lithuania through it, including 36 men and two women. They identified themselves as citizens of Afghanistan and Iran.<\/p>\n<p>The migrants were detained on Monday evening in the \u0160al\u010dininkai area. They were located by border guard patrols supported by canine units, a helicopter and drones.<\/p>\n<p>Thirty-six of those detained identified themselves as citizens of Afghanistan, with 23 carrying documents. Two others said they were citizens of Iran but had no documents.<\/p>\n<p>A decision was made to return the foreigners to Belarusian territory.
