Romania\u2019s national news agency AGERPRES reported that on Saturday afternoon, at 15:34, the country\u2019s General Gendarmerie was forced to issue an urgent official warning about a disinformation campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Videos of clashes and riots began circulating on social media, falsely presented as \u201cevents surrounding Korzh\u2019s concert in Bucharest.\u201d In reality, law enforcement later established that the footage had been filmed during a football match in France.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F1310924947789072%2F&amp;show_text=0&amp;width=290\" width=\"290\" height=\"476\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cThese materials are being distributed in a false context in order to create confusion and panic. We ask citizens to verify information sources and rely only on official information, since such disinformation increases unnecessary tension in the public space,\u201d<\/i> the Romanian Gendarmerie stated.<\/p>\n<h3>Heightened Security and Biometrics<\/h3>\n<p>Given the experience of the performer\u2019s previous stadium shows in Europe, Romanian authorities declared a high level of preparedness. Romanian Gendarmerie spokesperson <b>Ana Maria Burc\u0103<\/b> stated that all necessary security measures had been implemented around the stadium.<\/p>\n<p>Mounted gendarmerie patrols and canine units with specially trained dogs to detect explosives and prohibited substances were deployed at the site.
