Lukashenka has a habit of somewhat clumsily inventing after the fact where an <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/302422-po-versii-lukashenko-ukraina-sobiralas-napast-na-belarus-no-ej-pomeshal-putin\">\u2018attack\u2019 had allegedly been prepared against him<\/a>. What is there to talk about?\u201d<\/i><\/em>, he said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Lytvyn said that Zelenskyy was in Slavutych today, near the border with Belarus, and held discussions on security issues.<\/p>\n<p>As previously reported, Lukashenka\u2019s proposal came after observing a nuclear weapons deployment exercise.<\/p>\n<p><em><i>\u201cIf he wants to talk about something, seek advice or anything else, please, we are open to this. At any location \u2014 in Ukraine, in Belarus \u2014 I am ready to meet with him and discuss issues of Belarusian-Ukrainian relations. And perhaps talk about prospects. For some reason we have things to discuss with Americans, Germans, Poles, Lithuanians and Latvians, but nothing to discuss with Ukraine\u2026\u201d<\/i><\/em>, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Lukashenka also commented on statements by Volodymyr Zelenskyy about Belarus potentially being drawn into the war.<\/p>\n<p><em><i>\u201cIt will be drawn in only in one case \u2014 if aggression is committed against our territory.
