Traditionally, the Belarusian ruler addresses greetings to the people of a so-called \u201cunfriendly\u201d country rather than to its head of state. This time, however, \u201cinterstate relations\u201d were also mentioned.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cIn the not-so-distant past, interstate Belarusian-Norwegian relations made a significant contribution to improving the welfare of citizens of both countries, maintaining regional stability, and strengthening global food security,\u201d<\/i> the statement says.<\/p>\n<p>Lukashenka is convinced that <i>\u201ctoday, despite artificial obstacles and temporarily disrupted customary economic ties, Belarus and Norway have great potential for resuming constructive cooperation.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cMinsk confirms its readiness for an open dialogue with Oslo in various areas of mutual interest for the benefit of our peoples,\u201d<\/i> Lukashenka\u2019s press service said in a conciliatory tone.<\/p>\n<p>Lukashenka wished all Norwegians lasting peace, solidarity and prosperity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The press service of Aliaksandr Lukashenka has published a message marking Norway\u2019s Constitution Day.
