The incident occurred today at around 1:15 p.m. on the 10th kilometre of the R-58 road near the village of Yakubavichy.<\/p>\n<p>According to preliminary data, a 74-year-old Opel driver struck the officer, who was standing near a police vehicle with its emergency lights activated.<\/p>\n<p>The injured officer was hospitalised. Interior Minister <strong><b>Ivan Kubrakou<\/b><\/strong> personally travelled to the scene.
