Mistaking it for a soft drink, the toddler took a sip. The liquid turned out to be engine cleaner, which the father had brought into the garage the previous day. The child was hospitalised with signs of poisoning.<\/p>\n<p>In Ivatsevichy, a three-year-old girl took a blister pack of pills from a kitchen cabinet and swallowed them. Her parents immediately took their daughter to hospital, where she underwent gastric lavage.
