Enterprises ended the first quarter with a decline in net profit.<\/p>\n<p>Belstat\u2019s operational report does not include banks, non-bank financial institutions, insurance companies, budgetary organisations or organisations without departmental reporting and with fewer than 50 employees.<\/p>\n<p>In January-March, organisations\u2019 revenue increased by 5.5% to nearly 135.17 billion Belarusian roubles. In March alone, revenue amounted to around 50 billion Belarusian roubles, which was 7.5 billion more than in February.<\/p>\n<p>The cost of goods sold increased by 5.3% to 112 billion Belarusian roubles.<\/p>\n<p>Net profit fell by 7.5% to 4.68 billion Belarusian roubles. In March, it amounted to 1.9 billion Belarusian roubles.<\/p>\n<p>Sales profitability stood at 6.1%, or 0.1 percentage points lower than in January-March 2025.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 2,244 organisations were loss-making in January-March, which was 34.8% more than in the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>Accounts receivable stood at 105.2 billion Belarusian roubles as of 1 April. They increased by 2.1 billion Belarusian roubles in March but decreased by 0.4% since the beginning of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Accounts payable increased by 5.1 billion Belarusian roubles in March to 126.1 billion Belarusian roubles, while since the beginning of the year they have risen by 1.8%.<\/p>\n<p>Debt on loans and borrowings increased by 1.9% since the beginning of the year to 144.84 billion Belarusian roubles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Belstat has published data on the financial performance of organisations for January-March 2026.
