{"id":540114,"date":"2026-05-07T18:41:29","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T15:41:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reform.news\/?p=540114"},"modified":"2026-05-08T05:26:43","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T02:26:43","slug":"three-best-poetry-books-announced-natalia-arsenneva-prize-shortlist-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/three-best-poetry-books-announced-natalia-arsenneva-prize-shortlist-revealed","title":{"rendered":"Three Best Poetry Books Announced: Natalia Arsenneva Prize Shortlist Revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>The Belarusian PEN Centre and the International Union of Belarusian Writers have <a href=\"https:\/\/penbelarus.org\/2026\/05\/07\/abveshchany-syoletni-karotki-spis-premii-natalli-arsennevaj.html\">announced<\/a> the books shortlisted for the Natalia Arsenneva Poetry Prize (for publications of 2025).<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;This year\u2019s poetry season has demonstrated not only a diversity of voices but also a profound sense of the time in which \u2018it is impossible not to exist\u2019, where the word becomes a mode of being, as authors \u2018recreate themselves through language\u2019 and search for new forms of presence in the world. In this space, poetry opens up as \u2018a vast fragment of the universe\u2019, where the personal and the collective, memory and the experience of the present intertwine into a single text,&#8221;<\/em> the jury noted.<\/p>\n<p>The finalists include the following poetry collections:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cNetuteishaya Dalechynia\u201d \u2013 <strong>Ihar Kulikou<\/strong> (Januszkievich, 2025)<\/li>\n<li>\u201cChronicle of the Denial of Emptiness\u201d \u2013 <strong>Illia Kulbitski<\/strong> (Skaryna Press, 2025)<\/li>\n<li>\u201cTea Collection.
