Poland\u2019s Border Guard has uncovered a large-scale scheme involving fictitious employment of foreigners for the purpose of obtaining entry visas. Officers from the Border Guard unit in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a detained two women from Poland and Ukraine, as well as a Belarusian citizen.<\/p>\n

According to investigators, the suspects registered about 130 legal entities in Poland that in fact conducted no business activity. They were used to obtain documents granting foreigners the right to enter Poland.<\/p>\n

During the operation of the scheme, more than 11,000 applications inviting foreigners to work were submitted, later being used to obtain national visas.<\/p>\n

\u201cForeigners used to establish companies entered Poland legally, including for the purpose of obtaining temporary residence permits. They created trusted profiles, bank accounts, and telephone numbers using their personal data, which they then provided to the organizers. After completing these actions, they left the country,\u201d<\/i> Poland\u2019s Border Guard press service said.<\/p>\n

The data were later used to register legal entities on whose behalf applications inviting foreigners to work were submitted.<\/p>\n

The scheme was uncovered through an analysis of financial flows in bank accounts belonging to the company owners. Two suspects were detained at the Ku\u017anica-Bruzhi border crossing, while the third was detained in Gda\u0144sk.<\/p>\n

The detainees were charged with organizing the illegal crossing of the border by foreigners and obtaining false documents by misleading public officials. All three suspects were placed under arrest for three months.<\/p>\n

The investigation is ongoing, and further arrests are possible.<\/p>\n
