According to data from the Avtostat agency, 5,741 vehicles of the Belarusian brand were sold in Russia last month, up 47.1% compared with the same month last year.<\/p>\n<p>In January\u2013April, BelGee sales in the neighbouring country rose by 83% to 10,417 units.<\/p>\n<p>In April, the Belarusian brand\u2019s market share stood at 4.88%, and at 4.85% over the four-month period.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike previous months, no BelGee model entered the Russian market\u2019s top 10 in April.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, Russia\u2019s car market grew by 9.6% in January\u2013April to 382,450 units. Lada remained the market leader, although its sales fell by 9.5% to 95,680 units.
