One of them featured a well-known mural dedicated to the classic Belarusian writer <b>Uladzimir Karatkevich<\/b>. The artwork, which included a portrait of Uladzimir Syamionavich and fragments of his manuscripts with drawings \u2014 including the manuscript of the poem \u201cOrsha\u201d dedicated to his hometown \u2014 has been covered by construction materials.<\/p>\n<p>The mural was created by Orsha artist <b>Dzmitry Taukachou<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>It was one of the city\u2019s landmarks associated with the writer, a native of the area, \u201cVitsyebskaya Viasna\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/vicspring\/5381\">reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The mural was officially unveiled in November 2020 to mark the 90th anniversary of Uladzimir Karatkevich.<\/p>\n<p>It is not known whether the mural will be restored.
