The call took place at the initiative of the Iranian side.<\/p>\n<p>Pezeshkian informed Lukashenka about the situation in the Persian Gulf region, as well as Tehran\u2019s position in negotiations with the United States.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe interlocutors noted that the main stumbling block to reaching peaceful agreements is a lack of trust. The Belarusian leader emphasised the country\u2019s interest in the swift resolution of the conflict. In turn, the President of Iran thanked Alyaksandr Lukashenka for his principled and consistent position\u201d<\/em>, Lukashenka\u2019s press service said.<\/p>\n<p>On April 27, a <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/khrenin-discusses-military-cooperation-with-iranian-deputy-defense-minister\">military delegation from Iran<\/a> visited Minsk, led by Iran\u2019s Deputy Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics for strategic planning <b>Reza Seifollahi Talaei Nik<\/b>.
