Posing as police officers, they deceived an 85-year-old woman and took her money as part of a supposed \u201cpolice operation\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In mid-April, the woman received a call from someone posing as a postal worker, followed by a call from an alleged police officer. The perpetrators convinced the pensioner that her savings were at risk and that the money needed to be handed over to the police.<\/p>\n<p>When the fake officer arrived at the woman\u2019s home, she handed him 21,000 zlotys using the password \u201cangel\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Police identified and detained the suspects. They acted together: one collected the money while the other monitored the situation.<\/p>\n<p>By court order, both have been placed in custody.
