On May 16\u201317, the \u201cFestival of Hope,\u201d organized by Belarusian Protestants \u2014 Evangelical Christians and Baptists \u2014 will take place<\/a> at Chizhovka Arena. The main guest of the event is announced as prominent American Baptist preacher Franklin Graham<\/b><\/strong>. U.S. presidential envoy John Coale<\/b><\/strong> and his wife, journalist Greta Van Susteren<\/b><\/strong>, are also expected to attend the festival, Nasha Niva writes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Graham heads the Samaritan\u2019s Purse charity, with which Van Susteren cooperates. Graham calls Coale his friend and reposts on his social media Coale\u2019s posts about his trips to Belarus and the release of political prisoners. He also took note of today\u2019s exchange between Belarus and Poland.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you John Coale and President Donald Trump,\u201d<\/em> he wrote in a post responding to Coale\u2019s message about the exchange.<\/p>\n

According to the publication, Greta Van Susteren is planning to attend the May festival. It is possible that John Coale will come with her.<\/p>\n

Coale said today that he plans to visit Belarus in two to three weeks<\/a> and expects to secure the release of some political prisoners.<\/p>\n
