According to a <a href=\"http:\/\/publication.pravo.gov.ru\/document\/0001202604270003\">decree<\/a> by <strong><b>Vladimir Putin<\/b><\/strong>, the new head of the organisation is <strong><b>Igor Chaika<\/b><\/strong>. He replaces <strong><b>Yevgeny Primakov<\/b><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Igor Chaika is the son of former Russian Prosecutor General <strong><b>Yury Chaika<\/b><\/strong> and the owner of one of Russia\u2019s largest regional waste management operators, Khartiya. In 2015, the Anti-Corruption Foundation published an investigation into the business activities of Yury Chaika\u2019s sons.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Igor Chaika and his brother <strong><b>Artyom<\/b><\/strong> took part in a <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/165306-viktor-lukashenko-vmeste-s-synovjami-chajki-proveli-motoprobeg\">motor rally together with the sons of <strong><b>Alyaksandr Lukashenka Viktar<\/b><\/strong> and <strong><b>Dzmitry<\/b><\/strong><\/a>. Artyom Chaika and Viktar Lukashenka are founders of the Iron Birds Chapter motorcycle club \u2014 a local branch of the international Harley-Davidson owners\u2019 community.<\/p>\n<p>One of the tasks of Rossotrudnichestvo is the promotion of the \u201cRussian world\u201d. The organisation opens \u201cRussian Houses\u201d in various countries. Rossotrudnichestvo is under sanctions from the European Union and other countries.
