We Remember Everyone\u201d procession, the Russian House in Brest <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/rcnkbrest\/29977?single\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>By decision of the \u201cCoordination Council of Organisations of Russian Compatriots at the Russian Embassy in Belarus\u201d, the coordinator of the \u201cImmortal Regiment\u201d in Brest has been named as <b>Sviatlana Smirnova<\/b>, head of the Brest branch of the Russian Society.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, pro-Russian activist <b>Andrei Herashchanka<\/b> <a href=\"https:\/\/moypolkbelarus.by\/novosti-1\/post\/bessmertnyj-polk-2026-v-respublike-belarus\">asked<\/a> for permission to hold \u201cImmortal Regiment\u201d marches in Belarusian cities.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;In view of our shared approach to preserving the memory of the Great Patriotic War, we have appealed to the authorities of the Republic of Belarus to allow Russian compatriots, Russian citizens and willing Belarusians to hold an \u2018Immortal Regiment\u2019 march as part of the May 9, 2026 celebrations in Minsk, regional centres and major cities of the Republic of Belarus.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>We believe that the \u2018Immortal Regiment\u2019 march should be an element of the nationwide \u2018Belarus Remembers\u2019 campaign. The inclusion of \u2018Immortal Regiment\u2019 units within \u2018Belarus Remembers\u2019 columns demonstrates the unity of Russia and Belarus, Russians and Belarusians in commemorating Victory Day.
