A fatal traffic accident occurred on Kazintsa Street in Minsk on Thursday morning, the city traffic police reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A 61-year-old driver of a GAZ vehicle lost consciousness while driving and collided with a Volkswagen travelling in the same direction. The impact caused the GAZ to leave the roadway and crash into a metal barrier and a traffic light near building No. 21. The driver died at the scene. There were no passengers in the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Traffic police officers from the Aktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs and an investigative team are working at the scene.<\/p>\n
