The work was carried out at the facilities of the Minsk Civil Aviation Plant No. 407, where the aircraft had been sent on March 3.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;Upon completion of all planned work, the aircraft returned to the district today&#8221;<\/i>, the Partyzanski district administration <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/partizan_segodnya\/65693\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The jet fighter-bomber was installed in the neighbourhood more than 40 years ago in memory of Soviet pilots. During the restoration, the aircraft\u2019s tail number was changed to \u201c29\u201d in honour of Hero of Belarus <b>Uladzimir Karvat<\/b>, who in 1996 died while steering a falling aircraft away from a populated area. This was the number on his aircraft.
