Homiel customs officers detained a commercial shipment of foreign goods that a Belarusian carrier was transporting from Russia.<\/p>\n

A truck was stopped near the Belarusian-Russian border. Inside were 12,500 units of various goods with a total value exceeding 550,000 rubles. The driver was unable to present documents for the cargo, the State Customs Committee reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Administrative proceedings have been initiated under Article 13.12 of the Administrative Code. The carrier faces a fine of up to 280,000 rubles.<\/p>\n
