At the Hryharoushchyna checkpoint, Vitsyebsk customs officers discovered psychotropic substances in the belongings of a Latvian citizen who arrived as a passenger in a car.<\/p>\n

A service dog indicated the presence of prohibited substances. During the inspection of the man\u2019s personal belongings, yellow and purple pills were removed from a capsule-shaped keychain and a container labeled \u201cMultivitamins.\u201d According to experts from the State Forensic Examination Committee\u2019s Vitsyebsk Regional Department, the pills contained the psychotropic substances tramadol and alprazolam.<\/p>\n

A criminal case has been opened against the detainee under Part 1 of Article 328-1 of the Criminal Code. He faces up to seven years in prison.<\/p>\n
