The Development Plus association &#8220;is meant to bring together people who dislike something about each of the political parties on the right&#8221;, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wp.pl\/\">WP<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>According to Polish media, 38 politicians have already joined the initiative. Most of them are members of parliament from the Law and Justice party, of which Morawiecki is also a member.<\/p>\n<p>For several months, there has been speculation in Poland about a conflict within Law and Justice between two factions, one associated with Morawiecki and the other with <strong><b>Przemys\u0142aw Czarnek<\/b><\/strong>, whom Law and Justice leader <strong><b>Jaros\u0142aw Kaczy\u0144ski<\/b><\/strong> recently named as a candidate for prime minister in the 2027 parliamentary elections.<\/p>\n<p>The news of Morawiecki&#8217;s initiative has caused concern within the Law and Justice leadership. A meeting of the party&#8217;s top leadership is due to take place today. Media reports suggest that the outcome could include a ban on those who supported Morawiecki from appearing on Law and Justice party lists in the next elections.<\/p>\n<p>Opinion polls show the ruling Civic Coalition leading. Law and Justice is in second place, followed by two Confederation groupings, while left-wing parties may also enter parliament. However, neither Civic Coalition nor Law and Justice appears capable of forming a stable coalition. Civic Coalition and the left do not have enough seats, while Law and Justice would need an alliance with the Confederation of controversial politician <strong><b>Grzegorz Braun<\/b><\/strong>, which Kaczy\u0144ski \u043a\u0430\u0442\u0435\u0433\u043e\u0440\u0438\u0447\u0435\u0441\u043a\u0438 rejects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has created a new political grouping.
