The driver was a Belarusian citizen with 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his system, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/bielsk-podlaski.policja.gov.pl\/po6\/aktualnosci\/110617,WEEKEND-NA-DROGACH-POWIATU-TO-KIERUJACY-NIETRZEZWI-I-NA-ZAKAZACH.html\">police in Bielsk Podlaski<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On the afternoon of April 13, witnesses told police that a truck on the road was veering onto the shoulder, crossing into the middle of the road and had nearly collided with an oncoming vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Police stopped the truck. Behind the wheel was a 45-year-old Belarusian citizen. A breathalyser test showed that he had more than 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his system.<\/p>\n<p>The Belarusian man was detained and his driving licence was confiscated. He will be handed over to border guards for deportation from Poland.
