In agricultural organisations, production rose by 2.9% to 5.48 billion Belarusian roubles.<\/p>\n<p>Agricultural organisations increased meat production by 4.2% to 456,700 tonnes in live weight. Milk production rose by 2.3% to 2.23 million tonnes, while egg production fell by 1% to 863.9 million.<\/p>\n<p>As of April 1, agricultural organisations had 3.9 million head of cattle, including 1.4 million cows.
