{"id":531050,"date":"2026-04-03T15:33:38","date_gmt":"2026-04-03T12:33:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reform.news\/?p=531050"},"modified":"2026-04-03T16:53:36","modified_gmt":"2026-04-03T13:53:36","slug":"novy-chas-and-bic-recognised-as-extremist-formations-in-belarus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/novy-chas-and-bic-recognised-as-extremist-formations-in-belarus","title":{"rendered":"Novy Chas And BIC Recognised As &#8220;Extremist Formations&#8221; In Belarus"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>Novy Chas and the Belarusian Investigative Center have been recognised as &#8220;extremist formations&#8221; in Belarus.<\/p>\n<p>Four new &#8220;extremist formations&#8221; have appeared in Belarus: The Center for New Ideas, FUNDACJA BRAMA DZIEDZICTWA, the Belarusian Investigative Center and Novy Chas.<\/p>\n<p>Novy Chas was recognised as &#8220;extremist&#8221; by decision of the Interior Ministry, while the others were designated by the KGB.<\/p>\n<p>In the list of &#8220;extremist formations&#8221;, the Interior Ministry named people whom it believes are connected with the groups:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Center for New Ideas: <b>Aliaksandra Ambrazheichyk<\/b>, <b>Natallia Vavilonskaya<\/b> and <b>Hanna Krauchanka<\/b>,<\/li>\n<li>FUNDACJA BRAMA DZIEDZICTWA: <b>Aliaksei Lukashevich<\/b> and <b>Viktar Yakubau<\/b>,<\/li>\n<li>the Belarusian Investigative Center: <b>Stanislau Ivashkevich<\/b>, <b>Alyaksandr Yarashevich<\/b>, <b>Hanna Shabeta<\/b>, <b>Volha Alkhimenka<\/b>, <b>Siarhei Chaly<\/b>, <b>Alena Cherniavskaya<\/b>, <b>Aliaksei Karpeka<\/b>, <b>Kseniya Viaznikoutseva<\/b>, <b>Alina Yanchur<\/b>, <b>Aliaksei Hulitski<\/b>, <b>Lola Buryeva<\/b>, <b>Maksim Sauchuk<\/b>, <b>Mikalai Davidchyk<\/b>, <b>Volha Loika<\/b>, <b>Fyodar Pauliuchenka<\/b>, <b>Ivan Prus<\/b>, <b>Aryna Malinouskaya<\/b>, <b>Maryna Sabouska<\/b> and <b>Alena Prykhodzka<\/b>,<\/li>\n<li>Novy Chas: <b>Hleb Rubanau<\/b>, <b>Pavel Khodzinski<\/b>, <b>Siarhei Pulsha<\/b>, <b>Hanna Yermakovich<\/b>, <b>Aksana Kolb<\/b>, <b>Dzianis Ivashin<\/b>, <b>Mikalai Dziadok<\/b> and <b>Dzmitry Dzmitryyeu<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As previously reported, the Belarusian authorities regularly use extremism charges to fight political opponents and dissent in general.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Novy Chas and the Belarusian Investigative Center have been recognised as &#8220;extremist formations&#8221; in Belarus.
