{"id":530618,"date":"2026-04-02T12:59:39","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T09:59:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/reform.news\/?p=530618"},"modified":"2026-04-02T13:45:39","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T10:45:39","slug":"information-ministry-suspends-certificate-of-technalohija-publishing-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/information-ministry-suspends-certificate-of-technalohija-publishing-house","title":{"rendered":"Information Ministry Suspends Certificate Of Technalohija Publishing House"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>The Information Ministry has suspended the certificate of the Technalohija\u00a0scientific-production cooperative as a distributor of printed publications.<\/p>\n<p><em><i>&#8220;The Technalohija scientific-production cooperative missed the deadline for submitting notification of changes to the information that must be included in the State Register of Publishers, Manufacturers and Distributors of Printed Publications, the list of which is approved by the Information Ministry of the Republic of Belarus&#8221;<\/i><\/em>, the ministry&#8217;s press service <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/mininform\/4879\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Technalohija scientific-production cooperative was founded in 1988 and became the first private publishing house in Belarus. Its main activities include book publishing (scientific, popular science, reference and literary publications in various languages), printing (production of books, brochures, forms, booklets, prospectuses and calendars), and the supply of medical equipment.<\/p>\n<p>In February, Minsk saw <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/mass-detentions-of-book-publishers-and-distributors-take-place-in-minsk-nasha-niva\">mass detentions of publishers and book distributors<\/a>. Among those detained were the publishing house&#8217;s founder <strong>Vaclau Bahdanovich<\/strong>, his wife <b>Alena<\/b>, and daughters <b>Antanina<\/b> and <b>Viktoryia<\/b>. Later, everyone except Viktoryia Bahdanovich was <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/detainees-in-publishers-case-released-from-kgb-detention-center\">released<\/a>. The publishing house&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/belarus-detains-tekhnalogiya-publishing-house-editor-in-chief-dzmitry-sanko-again\">editor-in-chief <b>Dzmitry Sanko<\/b> was also detained<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On 3 March, the <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/kgb-declares-coalition-of-publishing-houses-an-extremist-formation\">KGB designated as an &#8220;extremist formation&#8221;<\/a> the &#8220;Coalition of Print Publishers &#8216;Kamunikat.org Foundation&#8217;, &#8216;Lohvinau Publishing House&#8217;, &#8216;Andrei Yanushkevich Publishing'&#8221;.
