It will remain in force until 1 July 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Latvia banned imports of agricultural products from Belarus and Russia on 8 March 2024. The ban also covers animal feed and products arriving through third countries.<\/p>\n<p>The Agriculture Ministry noted a steady and significant decline in imports. During the first 11 months of 2024, imports from Russia fell by 30%, and during the same period of 2025 by a further 85%.
