The election commission has summed up the preliminary results.<\/p>\n<p>Applications were received from nine electoral lists. A total of 175 candidates are competing for 80 seats, meaning there are more than two candidates per seat.<\/p>\n<p>Two lists have already been registered: &#8220;European Choice&#8221; led by <b>Valery Matskevich<\/b> \u2014 17 people, and &#8220;Law and Order&#8221; led by <b>Syarhei Makar<\/b> \u2014 12 people.<\/p>\n<p>Another seven lists are undergoing document verification:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the Latushka coalition and the &#8220;For Freedom&#8221; movement \u2014 38 people (leaders <b>Pavel Latushka<\/b> and <b>Yury Hubarevich<\/b>);<\/li>\n<li>the &#8220;Volia&#8221; movement \u2014 28 people (leader <b>Nikita Zabuga<\/b>);<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;United Civic Platform&#8221; \u2014 22 people (leader <b>Mikalai Kazlou<\/b>);<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Your Voice&#8221; \u2014 20 people (leader <b>Andrei Kolas<\/b>);<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Enough Fear!&#8221; \u2014 13 people (leader <b>Tatsiana Martynava<\/b>);<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Nastup&#8221; \u2014 13 people (leader <b>Lizaveta Prakopchyk<\/b>);<\/li>\n<li>the Belarusian Political Prisoners Bloc &#8220;Belarusy Dzejannia&#8221; \u2014 12 people (leader <b>Yuras Ziankovich<\/b>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Coordination Council elections will take place on 11-17 May.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Coordination Council announced the completion of the document submission stage for participation in the elections to the fourth convocation of the Coordination Council.
