The machine will be used in the construction of an extension of the Zialionaluzhskaya metro line.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaria\u201d was manufactured in China, and delivery took about a month. The diameter of the cutting mechanism in both machines is the same\u20146 meters. At the same time, the diameter of \u201cMaria\u2019s\u201d cutter discs is 17 inches\u20143 inches larger than those of \u201cAlesia,\u201d which will allow it to better handle hard rock and retaining structures.<\/p>\n<p>The complex\u2019s first task will be to construct a tunnel from Bangalore Square to the \u201cYubileinaya\u201d station. It is later planned to use \u201cMaria\u201d in the construction of tunnels for the circular line.<\/p>\n<p>The complex has now been unloaded, and specialists from Minskmetrostroi will assemble the shield in a launch chamber.
