A Map of Belarusian Culture in Poland.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Participants in the discussion, including <b>Yulia Khalevinskaya, Irena Katsialovich, Mara Tamkovich, Eva Vie\u017enaviec<\/b>, will reflect on how Belarusian culture influences Poland\u2019s social and cultural space and how this potential can be used. They will also discuss how culture can support the processes of democratization in Belarus and how to build sustainable relationships between creative communities.<\/p>\n<p>The discussion, which will be held in Polish, will be moderated by <b>Justyna Prus<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>After the discussion, attendees are invited to a performative reading \u201cFor This Is My Body\u201d by BY Theatre (directed by <b>Andrei Novik<\/b>) and a curator-led tour of the exhibition \u201cEntry Point. Women\u2019s Cause\u201d at the Museum of Free Belarus.<\/p>\n<p>The study \u201cUnused Potential? A Map of Belarusian Culture in Poland\u201d systematizes Belarusian cultural projects in Poland.<\/p>\n<p>The publication describes around 120 Belarusian organizations and initiatives and about 200 creators working in Poland after 2020. These are artists representing various fields \u2014 from literature and music to visual arts, theatre, and cinema.<\/p>\n<p>The Belarusian cultural scene in Poland is developing between integration and attempts to preserve its own identity.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;After emigration, many creators found themselves in a situation where they had to simultaneously rebuild their lives and try to continue their artistic work. This requires time and support, but at the same time demonstrates the enormous potential of this community,&#8221;<\/i> the authors of the report write.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the difficulties, there are also significant achievements and striking examples of successful Polish-Belarusian cooperation. Belarusian creators receive awards, exhibit in major Polish institutions, and are increasingly asserting their presence in Poland\u2019s cultural landscape.<\/p>\n<p>The study can be downloaded <a href=\"https:\/\/mieroszewski.pl\/upload\/2026\/03\/niewykorzystany-potencjal_www.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Admission to the event is free.
