An unidentified aerial object, possibly a drone, fell and exploded in Lithuania\u2019s Var\u0117na District. The incident occurred near Lake Lavysas, located about 15\u201320 km from the Belarusian border.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccording to preliminary data, the object (possibly a drone) crossed Lithuania\u2019s border during the night and fell in the Var\u0117na District, near Lake Lavysas,\u201d<\/i> the National Crisis Management Centre said, as cited<\/a> by BNS.<\/p>\n

It has not been reported from which country the object entered.<\/p>\n

Debris is visible at the scene. Police and fire and rescue services are working there.<\/p>\n

According to<\/a> LRT, the drone fell at around 3:04 a.m. Lithuanian time. In a video obtained by the \u0440\u0435\u0434\u0430\u043a\u0446\u0438\u044f, the sound of a flying object can be heard, followed by an explosion a few seconds later.<\/p>\n
