The statement noted that, in line with instructions from <b>Alyaksandr Lukashenka<\/b>, the ministry is paying increased attention to unfair intermediary practices.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;Officers of the Main Directorate for Combating Economic Crimes of the Interior Ministry, together with colleagues from the capital, caught top managers of an enterprise \u2014 one of the largest producers of oil and fat products \u2014 red-handed while receiving a bribe. The illegal \u2018reward\u2019 was given to the criminal duo for ensuring the procurement of raw materials through intermediaries and the export of goods at reduced prices.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>To conceal their unlawful activities from the bribe-giving businessman and their subordinates, the suspects acted according to the principle of \u2018good and bad\u2019 managers, while dividing the corrupt income between the two,&#8221;<\/i> said <b>Dzmitry Shchedrakou<\/b>, head of the Main Directorate for Combating Economic Crimes.<\/p>\n<p>It should be recalled that last week Alyaksandr Lukashenka held a meeting focused on combating intermediaries.
