At the same time, road maintenance enterprises did not file claims against contractor construction organizations to \u0443\u0441\u0442\u0440\u0430\u043d\u0438\u0442\u044c these deficiencies within the warranty period.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Critical defects in the road surface were identified, as well as cases of non-compliance with construction technology. It is also characteristic that not all organizations maintained proper records of such defects,\u201d<\/i> the Prosecutor General\u2019s Office said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, prosecutors concluded that organizations under the Transport Ministry failed to adequately prevent traffic accidents involving animals.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cOn certain sections of highways in the Minsk, Homyel, Vitsyebsk and Mahilyou regions, protective fencing sections were damaged, roadside vegetation was not cleared to ensure visibility of wild animals, and \u2018Wild Animals\u2019 warning signs were not installed on potentially dangerous sections,\u201d<\/i> the Prosecutor General\u2019s Office added.<\/p>\n<p>Other violations were also identified. In particular, organizations under the Transport Ministry failed to comply with the law \u201cOn Road Traffic\u201d in terms of drivers\u2019 work.
