This year\u2019s program features several well-known Belarusian names who will present their projects in various formats, from photobooks to multimedia shows.<\/p>\n<p>On March 28, the Zabytkowa Kopalnia Ignacy mine will host the presentation of the photobook \u201cRattus Sapiens\u201d by Belarusian photographer <b>Marya Karneenka<\/b>. This subtle, witty and visually powerful work, offering an anti-anthropocentric view of the world, has already attracted the attention of critics on international platforms.<\/p>\n<p>The author of the project \u201cBetonium\u201d, Belarusian photographer <b>Katsiaryna Kuzmichova<\/b>, will present two projects at the Polish photography event. In a slideshow format on March 27 at the Rzeczna Gallery, viewers will see the much-discussed work \u201cBetonium\u201d. On Saturday, March 28, Kuzmichova will present the photobook \u201cButter melts at 36,6\u201d at the Ignacy mine.<\/p>\n<p>Another Belarusian photographer is also featured in the program. On March 27 at the Rzeczna Gallery, he will present a slideshow project dedicated to traditional rural interiors.<\/p>\n<p>The Rybnik Foto Festival is one of the oldest and most respected photography events in Polish Silesia. The festival is known for its openness: there are no strict boundaries between established masters and newcomers. The main goal of the event is to create a space for sincere dialogue through visual images.
